Scotty Cameron 2022 Phantom X 5 Golf Putter
Born on Tour and crafted for players who favour a mallet with the top-line aesthetics of a traditional putter, the updated 2022 Phantom X 5 provides the performance and alignment benefits of a mallet with the feel of a blade. Continuously refined with expert feedback and new ultra-premium styling including a revamped Pistolero Plus grip that adds a decorative and non-slip texture to its design for 2022, Scotty pushed the concept of artistry through milling to the limit with a purpose-designed sole plate that provides perfect balance in the centre of the “X” when the putter is soled.
This Tour-proven, near-face balanced model returns with a solid precision milled 303 stainless steel face carried through to the body and wings, integrated with an aluminium sole plate and stainless steel sole weights. The single mid-bend of the step-less steel shaft is aimed directly down the target line and provides one shaft of offset for Scotty’s most modern Phantom X 5 yet.

Scotty Cameron 2022 Phantom X 12 Golf Putter
Redesigned for 2022 with a new look from address and a refined, thinned out mid-section, the latest evolution of the Phantom X 12—the line’s high-MOI champion—has been updated for even more forgiveness, easier alignment and confidence-inspiring performance. Stability-enhancing weight is maintained in the 12’s swept-back stainless steel wings, while this mallet’s aesthetics and sonic properties have been updated with a re-designed precision milled 6061 aluminium face/core to deliver the ultimate in perimeter weighting.
An elongated face-to-flange sight line in dove grey guides the way, as the revamped, squared-up flange and sole design make alignment effortless and give the new 12 the appearance of a “longer” look. With a misted texture and glare-cutting sheen, the anodized 6061 aluminium and 303 stainless components exhibit timeless craftsmanship in a modern configuration. Customizable stainless steel sole weights dial in the optimal putter length-to-weight ratio for a design that is among the most advanced face balanced high-MOI mallets to date.
FEATURES AT A GLANCE
At his California Putter Studio, Scotty Cameron has been designing, milling and building putters that perform under the world’s most demanding conditions for the game’s greatest players. With the Special Select line he’s taken another step forward in a decades-long career creating the finest in milled steel putters.
SPECIAL SELECT – TIMELESS DESIGN — BUT EVERYTHING’S CHANGED
Created specifically to offer the same sleek, classic shapes preferred by touring professionals, each Special Select model has been designed and milled in the USA to the same exacting performance specifications demanded by our game’s greatest players.
PERFORMANCE-BALANCED WEIGHTING
New performance balanced weighting expands on Scotty’s use of customisable sole weights to tune putter performance and feel at all lengths by incorporating tungsten for the blades and stainless steel for the mid-mallets to produce larger sweet spots and enhance stability.
SOLID MILLED STAINLESS STEEL CONSTRUCTION
Returning to the roots of sound and feel, each Special Select model has been designed and milled in the United States from a block of solid 303 stainless steel for legendary performance and playability with consistent sound and soft feel.
NEW PISTOLINI PLUS GRIP
Each Special Select putter is accessorised with Scotty’s new Pistolini Plus grip that marries the Pistolini shape with a slightly built up lower hand profile for feel and performance.
STREAMLINED PROFILES & TOPLINES
With an over-arching attention to creating Tour-preferred sleeker profiles, as well as slightly thinner and flatter toplines, Special Select putters maintain traditional overall headweight, yet display notable refinements in face height, neck position, hosel depth, corner radius shaping, flange thickness and sole weight technology to sit better, sound better and perform better.
SOFT TRI-SOLE DESIGN
Long favoured by touring professionals for its utility when setting up to putt, Scotty incorporated into the blades his soft tri-sole design, which provides a self-soling feature at address for proper setup and an aesthetically pleasing view of the topline from the moment the putter is placed on the green.
REFINED NECK CONFIGURATIONS
The Special Select line includes five different refined neck configurations for better alignment and Tour-preferred toe flow options. From the redesigned and repositioned plumbing neck set back from the leading edge for better visibility at address, to the revamped dimensional characteristics of his new small slant and new slantback necks—not to mention the mid-bend shaft-over-spud setup of the Flowback 5—nearly every aspect of every Special Select neck style has been redesigned.
PURE PERFORMANCE
Eight new models—blades and mid-mallets—blend Scotty’s timeless design with modern craftsmanship for pure performance.
Newport
Solid milled stainless steel blade with performance balanced tungsten sole weighting, a thinner topline, soft tri-sole and re-designed plumbing neck for medium toe flow.

TaylorMade Spider GT
The original TaylorMade Spider Putter was released way back as 2008 and quickly became a favourite in the bags of Tour Players and amateur golfers alike. Fast forward to 2022, and the Spider has evolved into a varied and technologically advanced suite of putters, featuring designs that can bring significant improvement to your putting performance. The Spider GT family is a new arrival for the upcoming season and consists of four innovative designs – each one offering distinctive qualities and characteristics.
The Spider GT family of putters consists of the GT, the GT SplitBack, the GT Notchback, and the GT Rollback. All four putters have been constructed with a fluted feel shaft which is a newly engineered stability putter shaft that has a softer section located 5” from the tip. This significantly increases stability, enhances feel and works to tighten dispersion. Each of the new putters also benefits from the PureRoll2 insert which is slightly firmer than its predecessor. It is constructed from black TPU Urethane and contains silver beams that run at a 45° angle, improving topspin at all points of the face.
The TaylorMade Spider GT putter is the headline offering in the new family of putters. Featuring modern wing design with sharp angular features this superb putter is the pinnacle of performance and contemporary construction. Lightweight aluminium has been used to construct the main body of the putter, with a 145g top plate added to eliminate excess weight in the middle of the putter. This creates extreme perimeter weighting and provides the golfer with unmatched forgiveness.
Steel side weights (80g’s each side) have been added to create a heavy frame for maximum stability and distance control. In a remarkable feat of engineering, only 18% of the weight of the head is located in the middle, this helps to stabilise deflection on off-centre strikes and massively improves dispersion.
The Spider GT putter is available in three appealing colour finishes – Red, Black, and Silver with each one giving the putter a totally different aesthetic. There are also three different hosel options available, a small slant (21° toe-hang – ideal for strokes with a slight arc) a single bend (face balanced – ideal for straight back, straight through strokes) and a centre shafted (face balanced)
The Spider GT range of putters is another extremely strong addition to our comprehensive range of TaylorMade putters. All four heads look superb and offer cutting edge technology that could seriously improve your performance on the greens.
